From the airport by subway

To get from the airport to Casa de Santo André, take the metro at the airport station and get off at Martim Moniz station. There you take streetcar 12 which passes in front of Casa de Santo André.

The metro station is located next to the airport arrival area, which makes it very easy to use.

  1. Take the red line metro in the direction of “São Sebastião”.
  2. Change at Alameda station and take the metro on the green line towards “Cais do Sodré
  3. Exit at Martim Moniz station
  4. Take the streetcar 12 (direction “Amrtim Moniz”). The streetcar 12 will climb a very steep street until it reaches a square. The Casa de Santo André is located in this square. Get off at the next stop and walk back about 200m.

Cost and time

  • Cost: 4.80 euros per person;
  • Travel Time: 45 min

Arrival with car

It is not at all difficult to stop in front of the Casa de Santo André to unload and load luggage, but it is more complicated to find a place to leave a car parked during the day.

As it is an area with parking meters, you still have to put coins in every 4 hours.

The hours you pay to park on the street are as follows:

From 09:00 to 19:00 Monday to Friday
1.20 per hour with a maximum of 4 hours

Thus, it is preferable to leave the car in the Graça parking lot whose biggest problem is that you can only get there with the help of the GPS.
