Parking

It’s not at all difficult to stop outside Casa de Santo André to unload and load luggage, but it is more difficult to find a place to leave a car parked during the day.

As it’s an area with parking metres, you still have to put coins in every 4 hours.

There are 2 car parks, both about a 10-minute walk from Casa de Santo André, but if you have to leave your car parked during the day, the best solution is to leave it in the Graça car park.

The biggest problem is that you can only get there with the help of a GPS.

We don’t recommend hiring a car to visit Lisbon because most of the historic centre is closed to traffic and it’s always cheaper to take an Uber than your own car.
