- Green zones – €0.80 per hour with a maximum of 4 hours
- Yellow zones – €1.20 per hour with a maximum of 4 hours
- Red zones – €1.60 per hour with a maximum of 2 hours
- Brown zones – €2.00 per hour with a maximum of 2 hours
- Black zones – €3.00 per hour with a maximum of 2 hours
Paid hours
- Green zones – From 09:00 to 19:00
- Yellow zones – From 09:00 to 19:00
- Red zones – From 09:00 to 01:00 the following day
- Brown zones – From 09:00 to 01:00 the following day and on Saturdays from 09:00 to 13:00
- Black zones – From 09:00 to 01:00 the following day and on Saturdays from 09:00 to 13:00
Car parking
The cheapest parks closest to the centre are the Santa Apolónia and Terminal de Cruzeiros parks.
They are excellent for those who want to go to the centre by car or who are staying in accommodation in Alfama.
Santa Apolónia
The cheapest park for daily stays is Parque de Santa Apolónia, near Alfama. Each hour costs 1.20 euros, but the maximum daily rate is 8 euros.
Cruise Ship Terminal
Another park slightly closer to the center, is the Parque do Terminal de Cruzeiros near Alfama. Each hour costs 1.90 euros, but the maximum daily rate is 12 euros.
Car rental
We don’t recommend hiring a car to visit Lisbon because most of the historic centre is closed to traffic and it’s always cheaper to take an Uber than your own car.
