How to get to Lisbon

One of the great highlights of Cacilhas is its easy access to Lisbon:

The Cacilhas–Cais do Sodré ferry leaves every 10–15 minutes, and the crossing takes only 8 minutes.

From Cais do Sodré, you have direct connections to the subway, trams, and trains to all neighborhoods in Lisbon (Chiado, Alfama, Belém, etc.).

Bonus: the boat ride itself is an attraction, with postcard views of the bridge and the Lisbon skyline.

Where to Eat & Drink

Seafood paradise: Rua Cândido dos Reis is lined with taverns serving grilled fish, octopus salad, and the famous clams à Bulhão Pato (with garlic and coriander). Simple, lively, and delicious.
